U.S. Shipping Suspended Following End of De Minimis Exemption
The nearly century-old de minimis exemption, a trade rule with the United States, allowed Canada-origin shipments to enter duty-free on orders under US $800. This ended on August 29, 2025, when the U.S. eliminated the de minimis exemption globally, including for Canada.
With the amount of risk under these new rules, shipping to the USA has to stop. Unfortunately, this means we are no longer able to ship to our American customers at this time. Any recent U.S. orders have been refunded in full.
We hope this change is only temporary, as we’ve truly valued serving our American customers over the years. If the rules shift in the future, we’ll be ready to welcome you back with open arms (and bananas).
