This week kicked my Halloween spirit in full throttle. Viewing Halloween YouTube videos ignited my creative juices into thinking why not start a weekly post with some of my favorite things.

The Schpeel will feature some of Danna Bananas favorite links of the week. I will share links that have impacted me, make me chuckle and are just neat fun.

1. Ellen welcomed 3-year-old Ayaan Diop, who recently went viral with a video of him reciting an affirmation. Ayaan and his parents chatted with Ellen about his motivational saying: “I am smart, I am blessed, I can do anything!”

2. A massive mastiff had to be rescued after getting exhausted on a mountain hike. Floyd the mastiff went for a hike with his owner up the Grandeur Peak trail near Salt Lake City on Sunday. But when it was time to come down, Floyd was too exhausted and just sat down:
