It's March 5th, folks! After a winter of playing hide-and-seek with the neighbors due to the chilly tango between Mr. Frost and Mother Nature, I finally spotted a friendly soul across the street I hadn't seen since last October (no dogs in his family). It had been so long, I was starting to think he'd turned into a snowman! So there we are, him, me and the pup, having a gander at the slowly thawing world and yattering away. And lo and behold, what do we see? The neighborhood comedians, also known as "cars," came cruising by at a good speed, not one, but two of them, and decided to throw a surprise mud splash party for yours truly. Talk about a wet and wild welcome to the season of rebirth! I'm standing there, soaked in muddy water, and the pup's looking at me like, "You're one cool ice cube." And what do I say?
"Blah" with a side of "Happy Spring" because laughter is the best mud-wash. 😆🐶🌷
💦💃💨😂
As I squelched my way back home, mud-caked but undefeated, I couldn’t help but think—there’s only one kind of creature I truly enjoy meeting on these walks: dogs. No surprise there! If you feel the same way (and want to keep your feet dry while dodging spring puddles), these People I Want to Meet: 1. Dogs novelty socks are basically a life motto in cozy form.
Because let’s be real... Dogs wouldn’t splash me on purpose… right? 😂
