A green banana is full of potential. It is firm, unripe, and waiting for its time. That’s how some chapters of Danna Bananas have felt, too.
When I first started this business, there was so much to learn (still is)... everything from shipping and SEO to platforms like Magento and Shopify. At times, it really did feel like going back to school, figuring out the lessons as I went along.
And then came COVID. Suddenly, it was back to school all over again. The rules changed, the tools changed, and the way people shopped changed. Just like a green banana, I wasn’t quite ready, but I had to grow into it... with patience, resilience, and a lot of learning on the fly.
✨ Update 2025: Looking back now, I see those green stages as necessary. They weren’t easy, but they shaped me and Danna Bananas. Each lesson, each adjustment, each “back to school” moment has brought me here. And now, just like a banana that’s about to ripen, something fresh is almost ready. Keep your eyes peeled. 😉
