Heading Back To School In Person? Let’s Try To Minimize Risk
While some of us are going back to school remotely, others don’t have that option. So if you or a loved one are headed to a classroom in person, consider picking up some of these supplies to try to reduce the risk of transmission.
Keep in mind, specific needs will vary from school to school. It’s probably a good idea to consult with the school about what exactly will be expected and provided during the pandemic.
Nitrile Disposable Gloves
Keeping your hands clean is important, but it’s also worth remembering that plenty of folks have a latex allergy. If you need disposable gloves, consider a nitrile alternative.
Reusable Cloth Masks
We’re all going to be wearing cloth masks for the foreseeable future. Buying a few at a time means we won’t need to wash the same mask day after day.
Safety Glasses
Touching your face in general is discouraged, but it’s easy to forget. If you want an extra layer in place to keep you from accidentally rubbing your eyes, safety glasses are an option.
Face Shields
Of course, there are some situations where entire face coverage is preferable to prevent contact. They’re certainly not for everyone, but having the option available is nice.
Hand Sanitizer
Keeping hand sanitizer with you at all times is a wise idea. Buying multiple bottles at a time means you can keep some in your bag, your desk, your car and anywhere else you might be. Heck, you can even buy by the gallon.
Touch-Free Dispenser
Sharing your sanitizer with others? A touch-free dispenser is a nice option — especially for the teachers among us. The less physical contact, the better right now.
