Earth Day 2019 is just around the corner.
Here at Danna Bananas we believe in helping Mother Earth in every possible way. We do everything we can including re-using carbord boxes and packing materials and reducing plastic waste. On that note, Earth Day awareness should be everyday and not just on Monday, April 22.
Earth Day was founded in 1970 so this is the 49th anniversary. The first year was celebrated in New York City. “Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure.” Today 192 countries celebrate this event. We all know earth day should be recognized everyday, right? With the arrival of spring, we see that carpet of litter so this must mean we all need reminders to appreciate and celebrate the planet we live. The fight for a clean environment shouldn’t be put on the back burner as we all have the right to drink clean water and breath in clean air. We’ve put together a list of fun products that are green and will lessen your family’s negative environmental impact on the earth.
Maybe they can help you make some new Earth Day Resolutions. On a green, eco-friendly note, Happy Green New Year!
