Happy Canada Day and Independence Day!
Canada Day (July 1st) and July 4th are just ahead of us.
Canada Day is a national holiday celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867. In many cities all across the country, parades, events, concerts and firework displays are planned to commemorate Canada’s birth. A fun day like this calls for patriotic food, dress and what party is complete without music. How about some Neil Young, Tragically Hip, Jann Arden or Shania Twain?

July 4th come right on the heals of Canada Day. Independence Day is a holiday celebrating the Declaration of Independence in the United States. It is often referred to as the 4th of July. Don’t forget your flags, fireworks and your favourite BBQ’d snacks!
