MONTH OF March

(February 19 – March 20)

Monthly Snapshot:

Ready, steady, reset! It’s Pisces season until March 20, and time to really get this 2021 party started. With so many planets in Aquarius and your mystical twelfth house for the past two months, your intuition’s been on fire, but your energy levels may have crashed a lot quicker than expected. If you’ve gone from wired to tired and back again, that roller coaster ride starts to ease up now.

With the Sun heating up your first house of personal initiatives, this is an ideal time to focus on YOU, something self-sacrificing Fish don’t always do so readily. Treat yourself to a little wardrobe or style refresh. Break out of any ruts by doing something novel. Even a small change to your routine can make a major difference. March-born Pisces, you might not get to celebrate your birthday with your usual fanfare and style, that doesn’t mean you can’t feel completely fulfilled by the way you choose to spend your day. Find a way to spoil yourself safely!

The one intense aspect that we’ll feel all month is a lingering 90-degree square as structured Saturn in your twelfth house of closure challenges disruptive Uranus in your communication corner. After making an exact gridlock on February 17, these two major planets have been moving apart, and they’ll connect completely again on June 14 and December 24. Under the Saturn-Uranus tension, you could feel torn between head and heart—which is pretty much a typical day for Pisces, only more acute!

You’ll get more grounded after March 20, when the Sun moves into Aries and your stabilizing second house. Work heats up or you could get immersed in a project that forces you to follow a routine, which helps you slip into a happy rhythm every day.

Week 1: March 1-7

Home is where the heat is

Your household could become a hotbed of activity starting Wednesday, March 3, as energizer Mars enters Gemini, heating up your fourth house of home and family until April 23. With so many people working from home (not to mention roommates, kids doing Zoom school or all other manner of chaos), tension could spike easily under your roof.

Mars has been in Taurus and your communication zone since January 6, so you’ve probably been juggling a LOT of different projects. Your social life, even if it’s been virtual, has been a heat zone. Now you need a bit of a break to decompress. Lighten your schedule where possible, Pisces. You’ll need many moments of self-care and nurturing over the next few weeks.

Make a conscious effort to get OUT of the house—and exercise—because sedentary life could set off your more easily provoked temper during this moody Mars cycle. You’re more empathic and sensitive, but that could tip in the wrong direction if you sit around soaking up everyone’s emotions or spend too much time caretaking others.

Thinking of starting a home-based or family business or tackling a renovation project? Your motivation could really soar during this Mars transit. Get proactive and start taking concrete steps to make these ideas a reality. But don’t rush in! Pick up paint swatches and do a few test strokes with the foam roller before you cover the walls in a hue you’ll wake up hating.

Week 2: March 8-14

You 2.0

Happy cosmic New Year, Pisces! Your annual fresh start moment arrives on Saturday, March 13, when the new moon in Pisces, flanked by beautifying Venus and your sign’s ruler, enchanting Neptune, beams into your first house of personal identity. Since this marks the astrological kickoff of 2021 for you, it’s the ideal time to set the stage for success with a passion project or new initiative. Endeavors started now will unfold by the full moon in Pisces on September 20. Where would you like to be by then? Visualize it as best as you can and start taking steps now.

Have you caught yourself thinking, “If I could only…”? Whether it’s getting your pre-pandemic vitality back, mastering a new skill or improving your relationships, the new moon urges you to take concrete action. Don’t wait for a “sign” to get started. And at the same time, don’t be surprised if you actually get one! The moon, Venus and Neptune are three of the most receptive heavenly bodies. Everything from intuitive flashes to wild coincidences could show up to affirm that you’re on the right track. The key, however, is that YOU take the first step, even if it’s a small one. Risks will be rewarded when there’s a new moon in your pioneering first house!

Start putting what you want out there—clearly and explicitly so the universe can “fill your order” correctly. Seek new ways of presenting yourself in the light YOU want to be seen. With tasteful and aesthetic Venus in the mix, this is a great time to revamp your image—and let imaginative Neptune play co-stylist! Create a Pinterest board of new looks or decor you love. Wriclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” te down your intentions or try making a “power wish” using a new moon manifesting technique by Japan’s top astrologer Keiko.

Don’t get so lost in your reveries that you forget you’re losing an hour on Sunday, March 14, when daylight savings time hits. This year, it also happens to be Pi Day. Coincidence…or a serendipitous sign? If anybody can figure it out, it’s you, Pisces.

Week 3: March 15-21

Roll up your sleeves and get to work

Well, that was fun! Enjoy the last few days of Pisces season during the workweek because on Saturday, March 20, the Sun enters Aries and heats up your second house of work, money and security. Practical matters take precedence between now and April 19. You may even be ready to prioritize a few of last week’s Pisces new moon insights and start building them into something tangible. Take that idea from concept to concrete by hashing out timelines, budgets or a few daily action steps that will help you see if this thing has real potential.

That’s not to say you can’t have fun. On Sunday, March 21, pleasure planet Venus exits your sign and joins the Sun in Aries, staying until April 14. Venus will whet your appetite for luxury (on a budget though) and inspire you to level up your image, from your wardrobe to your social profiles to any front-facing presentation. A touch of sleek and sophisticated polish will draw the right eyes your way. Venus can be a money magnet, and while this planet hangs out in your chart’s financial district, your powers of attraction are strong—both for people AND opportunities.

Work those persuasive skills to your advantage this Sunday because in addition to Venus’ transit, go-getter Mars will form a flowing trine to structured Saturn in the most empathic and heartfelt zones of your chart. Make an effort to connect to people on a soul-to-soul level, to listen compassionately and to offer intuitively guided solutions if they request advice. Luckily, this is a breeze for most Pisces and something you do naturally.

This weekend, your soothing and spiritual superpowers won’t go unnoticed. In fact, they’re likely to be in high demand, especially among your family or close inner circle. Just stay tuned in to your own limits. While Mars stokes your urge to play hero, boundary hound Saturn reminds you not to veer into codependence and caretaking. Point people to helpful solutions but know that you can’t do the hard work for them.

Week 4: March 22-31

Deep dive

Brace yourself! Emotional intensity could abound at the end of the month, at least on Sunday, March 28, when the annual Libra full moon beams into your transformational and intimate eighth house. Deeply buried feelings might surface as the emotional moon draws out what’s been hidden and brings it into the light. With harmonizer Libra at the heavenly helm, you’ll feel a strong urge to correct any power imbalances in your most intimate relationships—but you’ll also be gifted with a dose of gentle grace to help you get there.

Joint ventures and mergers of all kinds fall under the eight house jurisdiction. These moonbeams could bring a windfall, a partnership offer or possibly an investment that requires a large down payment. You may look into consolidating your finances, a real estate transaction, angel funding or a loan. Since the eighth house also rules taxes, you may find yourself working hard to finish a return before the April 15 deadline. Look to last year’s Libra new moon of October 16 for clues about what’s about to culminate.

As the saying goes, it takes money to make money—and this full moon could have you exploring how to link your superpowers and resources to another person’s for mutual gain. Just be careful with your cash flow and keep a keen eye on your budget. The full moon will be opposite spendthrift Venus in your luxurious second house, which also rules daily income and expenses. You may realize you’ve been frittering away a bit of your cash and could have a wakeup call that it’s time to get a little more serious about your spending and saving. The payoff could come in the form of long-term security or the funding of your dreams!

LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS

Werk it! With vixen Venus in your sign for the first three weeks of the month, you’re feeling magnetic and attractive and definitely in the mood for novelty. Because Venus is visiting your independent first house, however, you’ll need to hang on to enough autonomy so that you don’t feel restricted. You will NOT appreciate anyone trying to control you. If you’re attached, head that potential pitfall off at the pass by carving out ample alone time BEFORE it becomes an issue. Stylista Venus could also prompt a wardrobe reboot after a winter slump.

But with agitator Mars in your domestic quarters from March 3 to April 23, stay on guard for prickly—or simply unwanted—interference in your personal life. A demanding relative, needy friends or a tense situation at home could intervene with your romantic plans. Even on your own, you might be feeling moody or emotionally raw. The best antidote is to give yourself plenty of time and space on before rushing to taking care of other people.

Did you rename February 14 Valentine’s Dud? If so, you can schedule a romantic do-over on March 13, when Venus mashes up with your ruler Neptune in Pisces, a time for sweetness AND lustiness! The next week, the love goddess moves on to Aries and your second house of practical luxury. You’ll be seeking more and better everything from March 21 to April 14. It’s a great time to lock in a commitment, zhush your home and environment and look for ways to boost the romance ambience.
